Pottery Hand-Building Class (Beginner)

Welcome to my 2.5 hour pottery hand building workshop. In this workshop you will learn the theory, technique and principles behind pottery hand building. You will be thought these techniques :

• Pinching
• Coiling
• Slabbing

Workshop flow ( 2.5 hours time ) : 

• Introduction and Theory - 30 minutes
• Hand building time 1 hour 30 minutes
• Review, Appreciation and Summary - 30 minutes

Fee includes bisque firing of up to 3 pieces. Items will be ready for collection within 1 week.

Requirements : 

This is a beginner friendly workshop. Minimum age below applies. No prior experience required.

Age :

• below 7 years old is not allowed
• 7 - 13 ( requires parent/guardian to be present )
• 13 - 18 ( requires parental consent and contact for emergencies )
• above 18 : Come and have fun!
